Shader didn't load correctly for AssetBundle. Assigning Standard shader.#2654

I’m guessing this is related to https://tabletopsimulator.nolt.io/8 and the shaders being updated.

Are you using Vulkan does it go away in default launcher?

I tested it in both Vulkan and the default DX. It seems to only happen with Vulkan.

This issue is unfortunately not fixable it’s due to using the new Vulkan backend with custom shaders, they will not load correctly.

So would [re-]compiling asset bundles using the newer version of Unity fix this?

Just use default instead of Vulkan. Custom assetbundle shaders will break on any of the none default graphics apis.

I see. Kinda defeats the purpose of introducing Vulkan if it breaks so easily. Oh well, thanks for the answer.
